A portable app is a computer program which allows you carry around and use on any computers. It is very convenient for the people who often travel for business without laptop, using friend’s computer or surfing on cyber bar. When using someone else’s computer, you’ll most likely find yourself frustration why a newer version of Microsoft Word is not installed so you could not open your .docx files. Or you could not access to your favorite website because you do not remember the web address, id and password on the foreign PC.

This week, I tested four popular portable launchers on Windows Platform, which provide a more efficient way of running programs on USB device. These portable launchers help you use carry your favorite computer programs along with all of your bookmarks, settings, email and more with you, and use them on any PC as your own PC.

Play plants vs zombies on USB device

It is summer vacation now. But it is really depressing that I just can not find anything interests me. The other day my best friends recommend a game which named Plants VS Zombies published by PopCap Games. Then I download it but with little expectation, however, when I have played for some time, I find that it is just so fascinating and exciting that I am totally in it. And I then spread this good game to my friends to share with them and also when I go to their home, I can play it. I am addicted. Lol……

However, when I am at my friends’ home or at a net café, I find it is really irksome that I have to start from the beginning or from other people’s process. Then I looked up on PopCap Games official site for a portable version so that I can carry a portable one with a USB drive and continue my progress every time. To my chagrin, they have iPod version, iPad version, Mac version, but never a portable one, nor can I find such a version on PortableApps.com

If a USB Stick will do, why a notebook?

prayaya v3, portable apps
Travel with a notebook? It is not news. But Travel with a USB Stick? See how I manages my daily business during travelling with a USB Stick but not a burdensome notebook?

I work for a consulting agency. My job requires me to travel a lot all over the world. And, as is very common with other business people, I have to carry me with a notebook to deal with business and process documents and data during my travels so that I can maintain good communications with headquarters and my clients.

Thanks to my reliable Fujitsu as well as my effective helper and old friends, I mean, MS office, Outlook….. They are really useful and indispensable if you have been with them for years. Anyway, I need them to work.

However, *** happens.
